Operation Smile has launched their "Smile Creator Batch 1", a campaign where kids ages 6+ can do their own style of fundraising to help support cleft lip and/or cleft palate surgery for impoverished children. It's also a celebration of World Smile Day (4 October 2019).
From today until 16 September 2019 (3 months), individuals or groups of up to 5 members can participate through different activities to publicize and raise funds to help those with cleft palates, so they too can smile happily. Choose any activity you enjoy -- busking, having a bake sale, designing and selling accessories, toys, crafts or artwork... The options are endless.
Participants can then share their creativity by posting photos or videos of their activities on social media with the hashtags: #IamSmileCreator #OperationSmileThailand #PowerofSmallPowerofSmile. You can raise funds in any amount -- just do your best and have fun!
Operation Smile is seeking 100 Smile Creators for this campaign, and participants will then be invited to come together at The Movement Playground (Sukhumvit 69) on Sunday, 29 September 2019, to commemorate World Smile Day while celebrating everyone's efforts. Participants will receive an Operation Smile Thailand certificate and enjoy free activities at The Movement Playground.
